The Vietnam team held a Dialogue Forum on June 23-24, 2023, in Hanoi, Vietnam, on eliminating barriers for women and girls with disabilities. The Forum was attended by off-campus delegates including Ta Ngoc Tri (General Deputy Director of Primary Education Department, Deputy Head of Steering Committee of Education for Disabilities and Disadvantaged Children, Ministry of Education and Training) and Huyen Do (Chairman of Hanoi Association of People with Disabilities and Co-Lead of the EDID-GHDI Vietnam Country Team), as well as representatives of the ministries and branches and representatives of domestic and foreign research institutes, units, and organizations related to people with disabilities. Deborah Stienstra (Project Director and Research Hub Co-Lead) and Bonnie Brayton (DAWN Canada) presented virtually.
