The knowledge and leadership of women with disabilities are central to EDID-GHDI.
In this vignette, women leaders from across the partnership reflect on what it means to move beyond representations of women with disabilities as passive recipients of services or policy and to recognize them instead as advocates, researchers, leaders, and agents of change.
From political participation to work addressing gender-based violence (GBV), employment, economic inclusion, and transportation, the video shows leadership in different contexts. It also demonstrates how women with disabilities are challenging exclusion and ensuring that their experiences and priorities directly inform research, advocacy, and public life.
