Humanity & Inclusion (HI) recently published their report, Hear Us Out! Voices of women with disabilities from Benin, as part of their Making It Work initiative. The research was conducted by two women-led organizations of persons with disabilities: the Organisation of Blind Women of Benin (OFAB) and the non-governmental organization (NGO) Dédji.
The report highlights the discrimination faced by women with disabilities in southern Benin, while also acknowledging their strength, expertise, and leadership. HI provided technical support through the Making It Work initiative, and the EDID-GHDI partnership provided financial support through its thematic initiatives grant to help make this research possible.
