From July 16-18, 2024, the EDID-GHDI partnership hosted a Partnership Team Meeting, inviting partners, members, and friends to gather in Johannesburg, South Africa, to discuss where we have been, where we are now, and where we want to go from here. Two videos were created to capture the participants’ experiences, both of which can be viewed on the Videos and Podcasts section of the EDID-GHDI website or on the EDID-GHDI YouTube channel.
The extended 5-minute video captures the spirit of collaboration, dialogue, and shared purpose that defined the gathering. The shorter 90-second video offers a glimpse of the energy, connection, and shared commitment of EDID-GHDI partners, members, and friends as they reflect on the journey so far and continue to build a future rooted in disability inclusion and justice. Together, these videos showcase the incredible impact of the EDID-GHDI partnership and the partners’ determination to improve inclusion and justice for diverse women and girls with disabilities.
